From Glasgow

Download Directions

1. M8/A8 to Bargeddie / Uddingston Junction
2. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A752 heading to Uddingston
3. At the roundabout, (level with water tower) go straight through
4. At the next pair of roundabouts fork right, then immediately left for Uddingston
5. Continue to follow A752 downhill
6. At traffic lights turn left onto New Edinburgh Road
7. Pass through the next 2 sets of traffic lights— one immediately and then another at approx 1/4 mile
8. Pass Bison cement factory (R) + View-park nursery (L)
9. Turn right at traffic lights for Bothwell
10. Pass under bridge, then turn immediately first left onto Fallside Road
11. Pass HGV depot and cross motorway
12. Follow sign on Left into Medical Education Centre
13. Enter by controlled access door opposite car-park

From East Kilbride

Download Directions

1. From East Kilbride take A725 to Hamilton and Raith interchange then proceed to take first exit left (step 5 onwards)
2. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A725/(Artarman Rd) heading to Hamilton /Uddingston /B7071/E Kilbride
3. Take the right hand lane and proceed approx 200 yds
4. At the roundabout, take the exit for Hamilton and Bothwell ( Bellshill Rd)
5. Turn right for Bothwell at B7071/Hamilton Rd
6. Continue to follow B7071 past church to traffic lights next to Bothwell Bridge Hotel
7. Turn right onto Fallside Rd
8. Go through 2 roundabouts
9. Follow sign on Right into Medical Education Centre (note this is not the first sign for Kirklands Hospital)
10. Enter by controlled access door opposite car-park

From Edinburgh

Download Directions

1. From Edinburgh take A8/M8 to Glasgow
2. Exit Junction 7 (A725) towards Bellshill, Hamilton and East Kilbride
3. Pass exit for Food-park
4. Exit Left for Uddingston/Tannochside
5. At the roundabout, turn right onto A721 for Uddingston
6. Pass garage and through mini-roundabout
7. At traffic lights turn Left (B756) for Bothwell
8. Proceed as for step 10 from Glasgow

From Stirling

Download Directions

1. From Stirling take A80 to M73
2. Exit Left for A8 Edinburgh
3. Proceed at roundabout onto A8 for Edinburgh

2. Remain on A723 into Hamilton and take B7071 past race course to Bothwell
3. Continue to follow B7071 past church to traffic lights next to Bothwell Bridge Hotel
4. Turn right onto Fallside Rd
5. Go through 2 roundabouts
6. Follow sign on Right into Medical Education Centre (note this is not the first sign for Kirklands Hospital)
7. Enter by controlled access door opposite car-park

Public Transport

Train

The nearest train station to the centre is Uddingston train station. From there you can take a 10 minute taxi drive to the centre.

Bus

Various buses pass through Bothwell. We recommend you use the "Plan Your Journey" option on the Traveline Scotland website. The centre is a 15 minute walk from where the bus lets you off in Bothwell.
